1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VoltType, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. Description of Service

VoltType is a voice typing application that converts speech to text using AI. The service includes a desktop application and cloud-based processing APIs.

3. User Accounts

To use the cloud features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscription Plans

Free: 10 minutes of voice typing per day. No payment required.
Basic ($5/month): 30 minutes per day + all features.
Pro ($9/month): Unlimited usage + priority processing.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from the app settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you are unsatisfied. After 7 days, no refunds are provided for partial months. Contact support@volttype.com for refund requests.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for illegal purposes
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
Use automated systems to abuse the API or exceed usage limits
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service
Transmit harmful content through the service

7. Intellectual Property

VoltType and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VoltType and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

VoltType is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to: transcription errors, data loss, or service interruptions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
