What platforms is VoltType available on?
Windows has the full desktop app, with 25 languages on your PC. Use the web app on iPhone or in a browser. Android has its own app and keyboard.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. On Windows, Free includes 3,000 words, 2 AI Notes and 15 meeting minutes each month. No card needed. Pro is €29/month or €290/year. Teams is €49 per seat per month.
Which 99 languages are supported?
VoltType runs on OpenAI Whisper, which is trained on 99 languages with automatic detection. Accuracy is strongest for widely-spoken languages and lower for rare ones. The full list:

How is this different from Windows built-in dictation?
Windows has two built-in tools. Voice Typing (Win+H) sends your speech to Microsoft’s servers and needs internet. Voice Access works offline but only in seven languages and only on Windows 11. VoltType runs on your PC in 25 languages, learns your names, writes AI Notes and records meetings. Start free and compare with your own voice.
Does it work in apps that don’t accept paste?
Yes. VoltType can type your words directly into Windows apps.
Will it slow down my computer?
Offline mode uses your computer to process speech. Speed depends on your PC. No special graphics card is required.
What about my privacy on the free plan?
Windows Free works on your PC in Offline mode. The web app needs online processing and includes 3,000 free words a month.
Is my voice recorded or sent to a server?
In Offline mode, speech is processed on your PC. Online mode sends audio for transcription. Optional online writing tools send text. You control the mode in the app.
What is the refund policy?
